Hello and welcome to the inaugural post of New Yorkers Reading which, as you may have inferred from the title of this blog, features photographs of, well, New Yorkers reading. We start things of with my coworker (and paymaster) Jennifer:
Jennifer's reading A Child Called "It". Apparently, it's pretty compelling, because it got her crying on the B train this morning. Some woman saw her overcome with emotion and shot her a skeptical look, asking if it was really that moving. Jennifer says it is. Even though she's only about a quarter of the way through, she's pretty wrapped up in it and wants to finish it by tomorrow night.
